Practice Overview
Although focusing primarily on the defense of employers in labor and employment disputes, attorneys in our Trial group have experience representing both employers and employees in claims before administrative agencies such as the Maine Human Rights Commission, the National Labor Relations Board and Occupational Safety and Health Commission, as well as in arbitrations, and state and federal courts in Maine and New Hampshire.
We regularly handle all forms of employment disputes, including those involving discrimination and harassment, non-competition agreements, wage and hour issues and wrongful termination. What holds our attorneys apart from other employment litigators is their commitment to getting the right result for our clients as quickly and efficiently as possible so as to minimize the burdens that litigation causes in the workplace.
