About
Elizabeth Trautz works with school districts and higher education institutions on a wide range of disability-related issues, including special education, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Elizabeth discovered her passion for special education and disability law when she worked as a paralegal in Drummond Woodsum’s School Law practice. She then attended the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, where she served as the UNH Law Review Chief Articles Editor and authored Broken Promises: The Granite State’s Return to the Institutionalization of Children with Disabilities (21 U.N.H. L. Rev. 231 (2022)). While in law school, Elizabeth worked at the Disability Rights Center of New Hampshire, where she continued her research concerning deinstitutionalization and gained experience in the field of general disability law.
In her spare time, you can find Elizabeth on a pickleball court or spending a quiet evening at home with her pets.
