Drawing on nearly 20 years of legal experience, Peter Klein advises buyers, sellers, lenders, and borrowers on the full spectrum of legal issues relevant to real estate development. Pete has significant expertise in purchase and sale transactions, real estate finance, project development and construction, historic and low-income tax credits, commercial leases, affordable housing, and tax credits. Pete’s loyal clients appreciate not only his expertise, but also his collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to his practice.
Pete successfully handled the historic tax credit development of 2 Hammond Street in Bangor, the redevelopment of Lincoln Mill in Biddeford, and the real estate and finance elements of the The Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center in Lewiston.
In his free time, Pete enjoys spending time with his family in the mountains – hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. He also tries to take on as much pro bono legal work as possible.
