James P. Spizuoco is an associate at Drummond Woodsum. His practice focuses primarily on civil litigation, construction litigation, and medical malpractice defense. James graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Classical Studies from the University of Southern Maine in 2012. After undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Maine School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2016. At the law school, James worked two semesters at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic representing clients in a broad range of family and criminal matters. He earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his work at the Clinic. James was elected to a position in the law school’s Student Bar Association by his peers, and he was also chosen by his classmates to deliver the student address at the school’s 2016 graduation ceremony.

When James isn’t busy with his law practice, he enjoys comedy and rooting for the Boston Celtics.
