Hannah Vilas is an attorney with the Affordable Housing Group at Drummond Woodsum. Before attending law school, Hannah worked at Preble Street in Portland, Maine, where she witnessed first-hand the affordable housing crisis in Maine. This experience motivated her to pursue a career where she can bring affordable housing to those in need.

Hannah graduated magna cum laude, Order of the Coif from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. She received the F. Hodge O’Neal Corporate Law Award, and ABA Section of State and Local Government Law, Student Excellence Award. She was a Clinic Student at the Interdisciplinary Environmental, Immigration Law, and Civil Rights, Community Justice, and Mediation Clinics at Washington University. Hannah speaks Spanish at a high level of proficiency and was a U.S. Student Fulbright Scholar in Argentina in 2019.

Hannah was a 2023 Summer Associate at Drummond Woodsum and is excited to join a firm with a strong client-centered approach with a diverse range of practice areas. She grew up in Maine and enjoys spending time with her husband, George, being outside, hiking, reading, and cooking.
