Andrew Sweeney focuses his practice on banking and commercial finance, strategic transactions, governance, and mergers and acquisitions. He has substantial experience working with corporations, limited liability companies, and general and limited partnerships, across the full spectrum of industries. Andrew complements his business know-how with a deep understanding of the rules, practices and processes that give clients the legal framework for achieving their organizational objectives.

Prior to joining Drummond Woodsum, Andrew practiced at two international law firms where he represented international and domestic clients on a wide range of transactional matters including mergers and  acquisitions, securities issuances, and financings – with a particular focus on transactions in the energy, mining, infrastructure and pharmaceutical sectors.
