Chris Hatch Joins Drummond Woodsum’s Real Estate Practice

Drummond Woodsum is pleased to announce Chris Hatch has joined our Real Estate practice where he will focus on commercial real estate transactions, land use and project development matters. 

Chris works with developers, lenders, buyers and sellers of commercial real estate, commercial landlords and tenants – diligently protecting their interests and helping them achieve their goals.  He is skilled at drafting purchase and sale agreements, drafting commercial real estate financing documents, resolving complex title issues, and drafting and negotiating commercial leases.   He also brings specialized experience in representing Maine landowners in solar lease negotiations and in the in purchasing, selling, and financing of timberlands.

Chris began his career as a litigator at a firm in Virginia and then returned to Maine in 2017 when he shifted his practice to commercial real estate law and joined a Bangor area law firm.  Chris graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in management and received a law degree from the University of Connecticut where he was articles editor of the Connecticut Law Review.  While in law school, Chris was a judicial intern for United States Magistrate Judge Kenneth S. McHargh in the Northern District of Ohio.
