About
Sarah Freeman is an attorney with the Employment and Labor Practice Group at Drummond Woodsum. Having managed public sector supervisors overseeing union employees, Sarah understands the importance of strategic planning and effective communication in labor relations. She offers practical and strategic counsel to clients navigating complex legal and labor issues.
Before joining Drummond Woodsum, Sarah spent five years with the New Hampshire Judicial Branch, three of which were as a Circuit Court Administrator. As a Circuit Court Administrator, she supervised multiple Clerks of Court and central managers who recruited, managed, evaluated, investigated, and disciplined staff. She ensured appropriate managerial procedures were developed, implemented and followed consistent with collective bargaining agreements, and state and federal laws. As co-chair of the Demographics & Workplace Policies Subcommittee of the New Hampshire Judicial Branch Steering Committee on Diversity & Inclusion, Sarah successfully advocated for a new training and professional development opportunity for judges and court staff which enabled all staff to receive training in a revised Anti-Discrimination and Sexual Harassment policy.
Sarah received her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and served as the Managing Editor of Staff for the Hofstra Law Review. Sarah is a New Hampshire Bar Foundation Fellow, Trustee of The Supreme Court Society and is admitted to practice in New Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire.
