Nicholas Blei devotes his practice to advising private and public entities on a full spectrum of employment matters including collective bargaining negotiations, contract administration, and grievance and arbitration proceedings before state and federal administrative agencies.

Helping clients avoid costly litigation and staying focused on the workplace mission is his goal. He is a proactive problem solver, often leveraging his litigation experience and expertise in risk analysis and negotiation. Prior to joining Drummond Woodsum, Nick spent 5 years defending manufacturers, sellers and distributors of industrial equipment and premises owners ranging in size from multinational corporations to closely-held businesses in product liability litigation. He obtained summary judgment and secured dismissals or settlements for clients in hundreds of cases. Nick has been recognized by national and regional publications which rate labor and employment lawyers including Super Lawyers which named him as a 2023 New England Rising Star.

Outside of the office, Nick is a dedicated runner and mountain biker who competes in all distances from 5K through marathon. A resident of the Seacoast area of New Hampshire, he enjoys spending his free time outdoors with his wife and young son.
