About
Lee Foden is an attorney with the Municipal Law Group at Drummond Woodsum. Lee is experienced in stormwater permitting and permit appeals, renewable energy siting, and ordinance drafting.
Prior to Drummond Woodsum, Lee worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Saint Joseph’s College where she taught Environmental Law & Policy for undergraduates. She also served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Nancy Torresen at the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine and as a legal intern for BNRG/Dirigo Solar, Friends of Casco Bay, and Maine Audubon. Lee was awarded the Maritime, Oceans, and Coastal Law Award and received a Certificate with Distinction in Environmental and Oceans Law.
Lee pursued her Juris Doctor at the University of Maine School of Law and earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder. Between her undergraduate and legal studies, Lee spent three years in Southwest Colorado hiking and skiing in the San Juan Mountains.
Lee was born and raised on Maine’s rocky coast and grew up ski racing throughout the Northeast. She is thrilled to be back in New England to join a leading law firm in municipal law, where she’ll have the opportunity to create local impact, work on a variety of diverse legal issues, and support municipalities in creating and sustaining healthy, happy, and thriving communities.
