About

Kathleen Wade focuses her practice across a broad range of employment issues, advising primarily municipalities, schools, and private employers. Skilled at handling complex employment matters, Kathleen regularly appears before a variety of administrative agencies on behalf of clients.

Kathleen was drawn to employment law because she enjoys working directly with clients to help solve problems, especially assisting them to navigate complex legal issues including employee leave, compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, and conducting employment-related investigations.

Kathleen also proactively counsels her clients, staying on the leading edge of legal and regulatory developments that might affect them.  Kathleen advises across the full spectrum of employment issues including discrimination, sexual harassment, leave requests, pay issues, and employee discipline. A sought-after thought leader in the employment space, Kathleen reviews clients’ employment handbooks and policies, and delivers customized training sessions and seminars on a wide range of topics.

Kathleen was recognized as part of Best Lawyers “Ones to Watch” Labor and Employment Law – Management – for her notable work. Additionally, she was recognized as part of Super Lawyer’s “Rising Star” list. She’s also a regular contributor to the School Law Advisory and a frequent presenter at seminars and trainings.

In her free time, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, baking, and walking outdoors.
