Jennifer Riggle is an attorney in Drummond Woodsum’s Healthcare and Corporate practice groups. With over thirty years of experience representing clients in the health care industry, Jennifer is uniquely suited to perceive nuisances and “see around corners” when advising her clients on business, transactional, regulatory and general risk management matters.

Clients include individual providers, medical practices, for-profit and non-profit health care organizations and other business entities in the health care arena.  Her work providing legal counsel ranges from advising regarding start-up health care businesses and practices, structuring, reorganizing and advising health care organizations and agencies, transactions involving sales, purchases or other business affiliations, separations from networks and practices, succession planning and every aspect of health care business operations.  Areas of particular focus include policies and procedures for health care delivery systems and practices, health care data privacy compliance (including HIPAA) and regulatory financial recoupment matters.

Jennifer’s educational background includes a Masters of Public Health from Harvard University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bates College. Jennifer is admitted to practice in the State of Maine, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United Stated District Court, District of Maine.
