About
Hadley Johnson is an attorney in Drummond Woodsum’s Labor & Employment Group, where she advises public and private employers on a wide range of workplace issues. Bringing a strong litigation foundation to her practice, Hadley helps clients navigate complex employment challenges with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
Hadley is valued for her ability to build trusting relationships with clients and to distill complicated issues into clear, practical guidance. She draws on her background managing high-stakes litigation to help employers assess risk, refine internal policies, and address conflicts before they escalate. Known for her attention to detail, organization, and personable nature, Hadley is committed to helping clients achieve efficient, forward-looking resolutions.
Before joining Drummond Woodsum, Hadley practiced at a corporate defense firm in Florida, where she led the premises liability division for a national fast-casual restaurant chain. She litigated cases across Central and North Florida from initial claim through trial, negotiated favorable settlements that saved her client millions in potential exposure, and developed strong working relationships with in-house legal and risk management teams. She also provided training to firm clients on civil procedural developments and their potential impact on litigation in Florida.
Hadley earned her J.D., cum laude with Honors, from Barry University School of Law, along with a Certificate in Child & Family Law. Her law review article, “Marketing Research and Children’s Consumer Privacy Rights: A Battle in the Digital Age,” was published in the Child and Family Law Journal. During law school, she also served as a Dean’s Study Fellow and worked as a research assistant to Professor Wes Henricksen, contributing to his book In Fraud We Trust, winner of the 2025 Scribes Book Award. She received her B.S. in Marketing, magna cum laude with Honors, from the University of Tampa.
A member of the Florida Bar, the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division, and the New Hampshire Bar Association, Hadley recently returned to her home state of New Hampshire after nearly a decade in Florida. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, surfing, skiing, hiking, and exploring health and wellness pursuits.
