About

As an attorney in the Municipal Law Group, Alex Pringle brings a wealth of experience in employment and real estate law and a commitment to public service. He works with public sector clients, advising them on how to navigate complex municipal issues efficiently.

Alex has deep experience with Maine’s political landscape—from serving as a Legislative Aide in the Maine Senate to spearheading legislative strategy as a Special Assistant to the Speaker of the Maine House of Representatives. He has spent years advising elected officials, shaping public policy, and managing several complex long-term projects, including staffing the Maine Congressional Apportionment Commission. He also served as Caucus Director for the Senate Democratic Campaign Committee, where he successfully supported campaigns for 35 candidates, raising substantial funds and directing independent expenditure programs.

Alex pursued his Juris Doctor at the Boston College School of Law, where he served as the Executive Comment Editor for the Boston College Law Review.  He is also a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington, where he earned a degree in Political Science.

Prior to joining Drummond Woodsum, Alex practiced at a regional firm in Boston, where he focused on developing expertise in real estate transactions, land-use planning, litigation, and employment law.

Outside of the professional realm, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and children, and pursuing outdoor activities, particularly hiking the picturesque landscapes of Maine and New Hampshire. He is a devoted Boston sports fan, especially of the Boston Celtics, and enjoys practicing his culinary skills when the opportunity arises.
