Kellie Fisher of Drummond Woodsum Honored as one of American Bankruptcy Institute’s 40 Under 40

Drummond Woodsum is proud to announce that attorney Kellie Fisher has been selected as one of American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) 40 Under 40 honorees for 2024. This prestigious program recognizes 40 professionals under the age of 40 who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, achievement, and skill in the bankruptcy and insolvency sector.

Kellie Fisher is known for her extensive expertise in bankruptcy matters, commercial litigation, and transactions involving distressed companies. She routinely represents a diverse range of clients, including financial institutions, secured and unsecured creditors, debtors, and trustees, both in New England and across the country. Her sophisticated understanding of the restructuring landscape enables her to effectively guide clients through the complexities of workouts, restructurings, bankruptcy cases, and other creditors’ rights matters.

In addition to her remarkable legal practice, Kellie is an active member of the legal community. She serves as co-chair of the New England chapter of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) and is a member of the Maine Bankruptcy Court Local Rules Committee. She also frequently presents at conferences around the country, including the ABI’s Northeast Conference, the ABI Winter Leadership Conference, and Maine Bar Association Conferences. Kellie also maintains an active pro bono practice.

Kellie’s recognition as part of ABI’s 40 Under 40 program underscores her commitment to the field of insolvency and her potential as a future leader in the profession. The honorees will be celebrated at a special ceremony during ABI’s Winter Leadership Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona.
