Gretchen Jones Brings Deep Financial and Regulatory Expertise to Drummond Woodsum
Drummond Woodsum is pleased to announce that attorney Gretchen Jones has joined the firm, expanding the firm’s Business & Corporate and Banking & Financial Services practice groups. Gretchen brings decades of experience representing businesses and financial institutions in transactional, regulatory, and legislative matters.

Gretchen’s practice includes serving as general outside counsel and advising clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, charter conversions, commercial finance, and business reorganizations. Recognized as a leading voice in financial services regulation, Gretchen frequently presents to industry groups including America’s Credit Unions, Maine Bankers Association, and Maine Credit Unions’ Compliance Council. She has held leadership roles within the Maine State Bar Association and has served on its Grievance Commission as well as the Red Mass Committee for the Diocese of Portland.

Gretchen is admitted to practice in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and the District of Columbia. She earned her undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law.
