Whether an employee has resigned, taken leave, worked overtime, or has overused vacation – getting pay right has gotten more complex than ever. The stakes are high because, unlike discrimination claims, there is usually a clear (or somewhat clear) answer as to whether employers handled these difficult pay issues legally. Add to these issues, pay equity and the difficulties of getting pay right when hiring or promoting, and it is clear that pay issues matter, and are a challenge to most employers.

During our hour together, we will be looking at the most difficult pay issues and trying to shed light on them.
