Elizabeth Germani Admitted to the American College of Trial Lawyers

Elizabeth Germani has become a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in North America. The induction ceremony at which Germani became a Fellow took place recently before an audience of approximately 950 during the recent Annual Meeting of the College in Washington, D.C.
Founded in 1950, the American College of Trial Lawyers is widely recognized as the preeminent organization of trial lawyers in North America, composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Fellowship is extended by invitation only, following a rigorous investigation process, to experienced trial lawyers who have demonstrated the highest standards of trial advocacy, ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality. Candidates must have at least fifteen years of trial experience before being considered for Fellowship.
Germani has more than 30 years of litigation experience in Maine and New Hampshire. Her practice focuses on civil trial work, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving insurance defense, insurance coverage, products liability, personal injury, attorney malpractice, construction litigation, fire losses, business litigation, and contract disputes. She has tried numerous cases in both state and federal courts and has argued multiple appeals before the Maine Supreme Judicial Court, the New Hampshire Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
In addition to her trial work, Germani is an accomplished mediator and arbitrator, having served in over 900 civil cases. She has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including recognition by Benchmark Litigation as one of the Top 250 Women in Litigation in the United States, consistent inclusion in New England Super Lawyers since 2007, and ranking by Chambers for her work in Commercial Litigation. She also holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Germani was educated at Boston College (B.A., magna cum laude) and the University of Maine School of Law (J.D., cum laude).
