Drummond Woodsum Welcomes Leah Rachin as a New Shareholder
Drummond Woodsum is pleased to announce that Leah Rachin has joined the firm as a shareholder based in Portland, Maine. Leah is an experienced attorney in the areas of municipal, land use, and employment law. She has served as the town attorney for numerous towns and cities as well as represented developers, businesses and citizen groups in their interactions with municipalities. In her employment practice, she regularly advises employers and employees on their rights and responsibilities as well as conducts investigations in circumstances where misconduct has been alleged.

Leah is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School where she received a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and McGill University where she received a Bachelor of Arts. Prior to joining Drummond Woodsum Leah practiced at a prominent southern Maine law firm where she focused on Municipal Law. She also practiced with a large Toronto law firm where she gained significant litigation experience including class action and mass tort litigation. She also founded a court support and advocacy program for Toronto survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
