April 1, 2026

Attorney Adam Cote told attendees of a public information meeting Tuesday that Drummond Woodsum client Amazon’s proposed last-mile facility in Central Maine could result in faster delivery times for Maine customers.

The planned 159,000-square-foot distribution building is expected to bring 150-200 jobs to Waterville and Sidney.

Cote, who serves as Amazon’s lead attorney in Maine, has advised the retail giant on several recent efforts to expand its distribution network, including the construction of a facility in Caribou last year and a proposed last-mile facility in Gorham.
