Chris Stevenson is Elevated to Co-Leader of the Business Services Practice

 

Drummond Woodsum is pleased to announce that Chris Stevenson has been named as Co-Leader of the firm’s Business Services practice group.  Co-led by Chris and Michael High, Drummond Woodsum’s Business Services practice provides services to a wide range of clients, from start-ups and early-stage companies to multinational corporations.  Michael has served as the practice group leader for over 23 years.

As a tax attorney and former CPA, Chris focuses his practice on a wide range of federal and state tax compliance issues and tax controversies before taxing authorities. In his transactional tax practice, Chris frequently advises businesses on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions; he works with nonprofits on organizational and operational compliance with federal tax rules, as well as establishing joint ventures with for-profit entities; and he also has extensive experience counseling businesses, nonprofits, Tribal Nations, and public employers on qualified and nonqualified deferred compensation plans, health plans, and other employee benefit arrangements.
