Allen Kropp Joins Drummond Woodsum's School Law and Higher Education Groups

Drummond Woodsum is pleased to welcome Allen Kropp as a member of the School & Education and Higher Education Practice Groups. Allen specializes in civil rights, special education, and disability law, and works extensively with schools, colleges, and universities on a wide range of disability issues under Section 504 and the Americans with Disabilities Act, gender discrimination issues under Title IX, and race/color/national origin matters under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.

Prior to joining Drummond Woodsum, Kropp served in several roles within the United States Department of Education (DOE), including Deputy Chief Attorney and Interim Director of the U. S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights in Boston, as well as Regional Commissioner of the Department’s Rehabilitation Services Administration. He has extensive expertise in compliance, program administration, and educating schools, colleges, students, parents, and other stakeholders on civil rights matters.
