Allen Kropp Appointed by the Governor Mills to the State Rehabilitation Council for the Blind and Visually Impaired

Drummond Woodsum Attorney Allen Kropp was recently appointed to the State Rehabilitation Council for the Blind and Visually Impaired by Governor Janet Mills. Allen has extensive expertise in civil rights compliance, program administration, and educating schools, colleges, and other stakeholders on disability and other civil rights matters.  Allen is also a former Regional Commissioner of the Rehabilitation Services Administration, the federal oversight agency that works closely with the State Rehabilitation Council.
The State Rehabilitation Council for the Blind and Visually Impaired is comprised of a diverse group of people concerned with the quality of vocational rehabilitation services provided to blind Maine citizens. The core functions of the State Rehabilitation Council are to review, analyze, and advise on the policies and practices of the Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired and other related entities that are involved with the employment of people who are blind or who have vision impairments.
