Adam Cote Resumes Practice at Drummond Woodsum

Drummond Woodsum is pleased to have Adam Cote resume his law practice after an extended absence while he campaigned for the democratic nomination for governor of Maine.  He traveled the state holding numerous events and meeting with constituents to promote his vision for the state.  The race was close, but in the final tabulation of ranked choice votes, Cote came in second to Janet Mills.  The primary race debuted ranked choice voting in a statewide election.

“We are all very proud Adam for all that he accomplished and what he stood for during the primary contest.  Adam is a valuable member of the Drummond Woodsum business practice and we are glad that he will again be available to advise our clients” commented Benjamin Marcus, Managing Director.

Adam will resume his role as practice group leader for Drummond Woodsum’s Energy and Utilities practice where he will focus on providing counsel to renewable energy providers, start-ups and regulated utilities.
