Drummond Woodsum is pleased to announce that the firm’s shareholders have re-elected Benjamin E. Marcus and Aaron M. Pratt to the firm’s Board of Directors and have elected Adrianne Fouts to the firm’s Board of Directors. Ben has served as the firm’s Managing Director for the last five years, a period of considerable growth for the firm. Ben’s law practice focuses on corporate and commercial transactions, including the formation and capitalization of businesses, the purchase and sale of businesses, commercial lending transactions including loan restructurings and workouts and contract disputes. He has specialized experience in the area of insolvency law, representing secured and unsecured creditors and the purchasers of businesses in the context of federal bankruptcy proceedings.

Aaron Pratt represents businesses, health care organizations, investment funds, investors and Indian tribes in a wide range of corporate, partnership and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities matters, private placements, venture capital financings (representing both investors and targets), investment fund structure, health care compliance and Tribal economic development matters.

Adrianne Fouts concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, appellate matters and higher education law. She represents some of the area’s leading businesses in a variety of complex commercial matters, including disputes involving intellectual property and corporate ownership. Adrianne’s practice also includes representing colleges and universities in a variety of capacities, including compliance and student discipline matters.
