Portland Press Herald: Amazon files plans for Gorham warehouse

Attorney Adam Cote was quoted in a Portland Press Herald news story about Amazon’s proposal to build a “last-mile” distribution center in Gorham. Cote, who is representing the tech and retail giant, told attendees at a community forum that a parcel off of Route 25 is the perfect location for Amazon’s planed 146,000-square-foot warehouse, which is expected to operate around the clock with two or three work shifts. Amazon has a contract to buy the land from Gorham for $4 million and is currently seeking planning board approval for the project.
