About
Colleen Tucker advises commercial and residential developers, lenders, borrowers, buyers, sellers, land conservation organizations, state agencies, municipalities and school systems on a broad spectrum of real estate matters. Colleen has substantial experience with title examination and analysis, drafting and preparation of deeds, as well as preparing other transactional documentation. With her attention to detail, she also helps clients with a wide range of needs, like understanding what liens or encumbrances affect their property and what rights come with the property.
Colleen works with the firm’s in-house title company, Classic Title Co. and collaborates with other real estate and municipal law and probate practitioners in the firm, ensuring that title-related issues presented by any particular piece of real estate are addressed.
In her free time, Colleen enjoys giving back to her community. She’s been a member of the League of Women Voters of Maine for 25 years (and counting) – directly facilitating the process for the State League to adopt positions for the advocacy of Ranked Choice Voting and Marriage Equality in Maine – two things that impact our state and community today. Colleen is also on the board of the local League’s Emily Farley Fund, which distributes funding for voter education in the Portland area.
